What problems may I encounter with older 3D models?

You may encounter anomalies such as Z-fighting, and incorrectly displayed or missing textures. If your scene was built exclusively for the earlier 3ds Max 'Render' feature it is possible that the model was not constructed using real world units. 'Lighting' and 'geometry' may also require dimensional adjustments.
